Ever since its creation in 2009, Luxgen has never failed to impress the automobile world, both domestically (With record sale figures in Taiwan) and internationally, with their innovative technologies and revolutionary designs (for a Taiwanese domestic car). In 2014, Luxgen seeks to once again prove itself with a new crossover, the Luxgen U7 Turbo.
This 31K, 175 bhp turbocharged straight-four crossover may appear to be nothing but a face-lift of the original 7 SUV launched in 2010, but the changes are more than just skin-deep. With new LED head and tail lights, a new Andoird-based THINK+ TOUCH interface (similar to the one found in the 5 Sedan), a new in-car touch-screen control, updated 360 Eagle View and DAS+ (Driver Alert System), and a slightly updated engine (to meet European and American requirements), this is more than just a face-lift. It's a new model in its own right.
The 2014 Luxgen U7 Turbo goes on sale early 2014 in Taiwan, and later on in Russia, the Dominican Republic, Saudi Arabia, PRC, and other foreign markets.
