HSNU nearly breaks world record 附中萬人唱校歌「差2千人」破金氏紀錄


師大附中65週年校慶,舉行萬人唱校歌,挑戰金氏世界記錄,包括行政院長陳冲、資深體育主播傅達仁,還有納豆、劉真都是附中的校友,一起回母校重溫高中校歌,可惜最後挑戰金氏記錄失敗,最後統計共有1萬3千人唱校歌,離記錄還少2千人,不過萬人齊唱校歌的場面,還是相當壯觀。

2017世大運 台北獲選 Taipei to host 2017 World University Games

  

歷經兩年的準備,台北市在台北時間今天凌晨獲選舉辦2017年夏季世界大學運動會,擊敗強勁對手巴西利亞(Brasilia)。這將是台灣有史以來主辦最大的國際運動賽事!!!

   We've done it!!! Taipei is now hosting the 2017 Summer Universiade! This will be Taiwan's biggest international sporting event hosted to date!

第12屆漫畫博覽會 Taipei 12th Comic Exposition: Day 1



 Finally managed to get myself into the expo today... as I was either busy the previous days or there was a line that was longer than the Great Wall of China (due to the presence of Aya Hirano, in her last appearance[?] in public). This year, I  bought several things... a bit more than the last expo back in February. Here's a look at what I got.

COMPUTEX kicks off tomorrow!

 Tomorrow, the world's second largest computer and technology fair (Asia's largest, and behind Germany's CeBIT) will comence, which is expected to attract 120,000 visitors, including more than 30,000 international buyers. According to the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), this year’s event is 8% larger in scope than last year's. It is also likely to generate business opportunities worth 25 billion US dollars.
